Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise drilling programs, including well design and trajectory planning.
- Supervise and coordinate drilling operations, ensuring safety and adherence to technical standards.
- Identify and assess potential drilling risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated field development strategies.
- Conduct post-drilling analyses to evaluate performance and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in petroleum engineering or related field.
- From 2 years’ experience in drilling engineering with an oil and gas operator.
- Visible commitment to maintaining the highest standard of safety.
- Experience in planning and executing onshore drilling projects, preferably in Australia.
- Proficiency in well design and the ability to develop and optimise drilling programs.
- Demonstrated experience in the contracting and procurement process for drilling operations.
- A positive can-do attitude.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
