Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end contract management process, from initial drafting to contract closeout.
- Provide expert guidance on contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, procurement, and project management teams, to facilitate effective contract development and execution.
- Conduct thorough reviews of contractual documents, identifying and mitigating risks while maximizing opportunities for value creation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for external partners and vendors, fostering positive relationships and resolving contract-related issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field.
- Anywhere from 5+ years of experience.
- Visible commitment to maintaining the highest standard of safety.
- Extensive experience in contracting and procurement for onshore oil and gas drilling projects, preferably with an oil and gas operator in Australia.
- Ability to lead negotiations for contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the organisation while mitigating risks.
- Ability to identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts, implementing strategies to mitigate and manage risks effectively.
- A positive can-do attitude.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
